The 18th Annual Master Chefs Classic, held at the Westin Resort & Marina, is the premier culinary tasting and competition of the Lower Keys.
This is a fundraiser for MARC (Monroe Association of ReMARCable Citizens).
Attendees are treated to amazing culinary creations in appetizer, entree and dessert categories. Awards are given from a judging panel as well as the
People's Choice Award
decided on by you, as one of the lucky attendees.

·         2nd Place - A & B Lobster – Florida Lobster Ceviche – Cilantro oil, micro cilantro greens with Sriracha coconut foam.
·         3rd Place - Pier House Resort – Smoked Beef Tenderloin “Cannoli” with Cacao Balsamic
·         People’s Choice – Bagatelle – Lobster BLT with saffron aioli.
ENTREES –

·         1st Place - Latitudes on Sunset Key – Parmesan Crusted Crab stuffed with scallops, truffled risotto, young arugula and piquillo pepper.
·         1sr Place - Tavern’nTown – Marriott Beachside – “Land & Sea” – Pan roasted Florida lobster with slow braised oxtail risotto
·         2nd Place - Hot Tin Roof – Sears Scallops with charred escarole and white cheddar polenta.
·         3rd Place - A & B Lobster House – Pan Seared Scallop w/roasted corn sauce, basil gorgonzola mashed potatoes and popcorn shoots.
·         People’s Choice – Café Sole – Jumbo Sea Scallops over spinach and cheese polenta with asparagus sauce and white truffle oil.
DESSERT
·         1st Place – Casa Marina – White chocolate sushi with raspberry hazelnut caviar.
·         2nd Place – Bistro 245 – Zaya Tower Sponge cake, rum raisin walnut custard, and chocolate
·         3rd Place – Alonzo’s Oyster Bar – Southern Pecan Pie with bourbon cream.

People’s Choice – Croissants de France – Strawberry Cake with Raspberry and crème vanilla sauce.
