The Seascape Vineyard Chardonnay typically shows orange blossom and citrus oil aromas, keen acidity with lemon drop flavors and underlying mineral notes. 94 Points - "High acidity marks this vibrant wine, which is from one of Kendall-Jackson's coolest coastal vineyards. The crispness lends a vibrant tension to the intense flavors of Meyer lemons, orange blossom and minerals, while oak adds softer, spicy notes. Feels racy and nervy all through, in a delicious way." - Steve Heimoff, Wine Enthusiast, July 2009
92 Points - "Bright gold. Powerful scents of papaya, pear skin and tangerine, with a strong mineral underpinning. Sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors pack a serious punch and gain a smoky mineral and floral character with air that repeats on the lingering finish. This is the most vibrant of this set of chardonnays." - Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May 2009
Poet’s Leap Riesling, Columbia Valley
Poet’s Leap Riesling made by Armin Diel of the renowned Schlossgut Diel in the Nahe River Valley of Germany. Medium straw-colored with a greenish tint, it offers aromas of fresh apples, honey, and spring flowers. This splendidly balanced wine has lively acidity, crisp spicy flavors, and excellent length. This Kabinett-styled Riesling should evolve for several years and drink well through 2015.

Pedestal Merlot,
The Pedestal features the peripatetic Michel Rolland. His wine is 80% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Cabernet Franc aged for 22 months in 85% new French oak. Deep crimson-colored, it offers an enticing perfume of toasty new oak, pencil lead, spice box, clove, allspice, red currants and black cherry. Seamless on the palate, the wine has gobs of ripe, savory flavors, well-concealed tannin, excellent aging potential, and a long, pure finish. It will provide much pleasure between 2012 and 2025.

Decero Amano, Mendoza (Malbec, Cab Sauv, Petit Verdot)

2006 was an excellent vintage in Agrelo. A cool winter with plenty of snow fall in the
This flagship wine is a blend of 60% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot from the best vineyard lots in the Remolinos vineyard. These lots have lower natural yields, and are also thinned to 1 cluster per shoot. Maceration is slightly longer for these lots, and fermentation times and temperatures depend on the characteristics of the particular lots. The wine is then gently basket pressed before going into new French oak barrels for 22 months, followed by 10 months maturation in bottle.
The wine shows a deep purplish, ruby color, with violet and intriguing spice notes on the nose, and on the palate soft, fine, integrated tannins, and a deep, rich character. Aromas and flavors unfold from the violets of the Malbec to the red fruits of the Cabernet, and the jasmine perfumed Petit Verdot. The Cabernet also lends excellent structure and length, and the Petit Verdot adds firm tannins and textural complexity.
"A saturated purple in color, it reveals a sexy aromatic array of pain grille, crushed stone, Asian spices, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. Round, rich, and complex on the palate, it has superior depth and concentration, well-concealed structure, with chocolate covered cherries making a cameo in the lengthy finish. What an impressive debut for Finca Decero!"

Anakota Helena Dakota Cabernet Sauvignon,
"The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Helena Dakota offers pretty raspberry/floral notes with a Chateau Margaux-like finesse and complexity. Medium to full-bodied with a more elegant, restrained style than its younger sibling, it possesses a Bordeaux-like structure, beautiful fruit, firm tannin, and a long finish." -Rated 92, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
