Executive Director of the Mote Marine Tropical Research Lab

Aquaculture, also known as aqua farming, is the farming of fishcrustaceansmollusks and aquatic plants. Our presenter David E. Vaughan, PhD, Mote Marine's Key West aqua culturist is also a culinary adventurer and will be serving Farmed Sturgeon Caviar for you to taste and, of course, a sip or two of bubbly.

Visit the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center on Friday to learn more about Aquaculture, how it affects commercial fishing and the National Marine Sanctuary, and how it pertains to the food that we consume.
